The Guidance Department will make every effort to keep this list updated; however, the most up to date information can be found by meeting with your Guidance Counselor.


The Elks National Foundation Scholarships - The Elks National Foundation offers "Most Valuable Student" scholarships for all high school seniors, as well as Legacy scholarships for high school seniors that are children and grandchildren of Elks. The deadline to apply for the Most Valuable Student scholarship is November 27th, 2017. The deadline to apply for Legacy scholarships is February 2nd,  2018http://www.elks.org/scholars/

Ivy Tech Scholarships- Once students have been admitted to Ivy Tech, they can apply for scholarships via their MyIvy account or can get more info at ivytech.edu/scholarships. Only one application is completed for approximately 600 scholarships.

National Honor Society Scholarship- for any senior NHS member. Apply online at https://aim.applyists.net/NHS   If prompted, enter program key "NHS"  Student portion of the application is due January 30th. 

Putnam County Foundation Scholarships- The PC Foundation application will become live on November 1st. Fill out this one application and apply for multiple scholarships at once. Start early! Ask for letters of recommendation well before Christmas break. The online application is found at pcfoundation.org and is due January 12th. 

Coolidge Scholarship- full-ride, four-year merit scholarship for undergraduate study at any accredited college in the US. Only Juniors are eligible to apply. Apply at www.coolidgescholars.org Due January 24th.

Putnam County Board of Realtors Scholarship- scholarship given to seniors planning to study finance, real estate, accounting, construction, or law. This scholarship is awarded to a student at each high school in Putnam County. Applications are in the guidance office. Due February 15th.

Knights of Pythias Scholarship- $1,000 scholarship for a student with a 3.0 or higher. Two short essays are required. Applications cannot be handwritten. Please email Mrs. Alspaugh for a PDF copy that can be typed onto. Due January 25th. 

Co-Alliance Solutions Scholarship

 Twenty students will be recipients of a one-time $1,000 scholarship based on the following criteria:

  • They plan on graduating this spring
  • Their parents or grandparents are members of one of our five member co-ops (Midland, Impact, LaPorte, or Excel)
  • They will study agriculture in college
  • The strength of a 500 word minimum essay on the topic of believing in agriculture and how they plan to change it.
  • Please note that students are expected to provide a recent high school transcript in order for their application to be considered complete. The application can be found on our website at www.co-alliance.com. The deadline for application is March 1, 2018.
FFA Scholarship- current Seniors who are FFA members and play to study an ag-related major in college can apply for a $1,500 scholarship. Go to ffa.org/scholarships to apply. Due February 1st.


Parke County REMC Scholarship- $1,000 scholarships given to Seniors whose parents/guardians are members and full time residents in the Parke County REMC service area, have a 2.5 GPA, and plan to attend college or technical school. Applications are in the guidance office. Due April 2nd. 

Indiana Association of Educational Office Professionals 

-$1000 Scholarship 

-Applicants must have completed 2 or more business educational courses (4 credits) within 4 years of high school from among the following: computer programming, accounting, finance, business, computer science, or classes comparable to these courses.  

-The applicant shall be enrolled having made application to an institute of higher education (2 or 4 yr school, business or vocational college)

-Applicants must maintain a 2.8 (of a possible 4.0) GPA

-Due Feb 10th 

-Applications are in the guidance office

Best Mattress Sleep Scholarship - 

-$1000 Scholarship 

 Applicants must be current high school seniors attending school in the US or current college students already studying at an accredited US post-secondary institution. 

-Applicants must be US Citizens 

-Applicants must be anticipating completion of high school diploma at time of application or already in possession of high school diploma / GED

-Applicants must be planning to or already currently pursuing a degree at an accredited US post-secondary institution 

-Applicants must be carrying a minimum 3.0 GPA currently or at the end of their senior year 

-Due May 19th 


-Applications are in the guidance office. 

Hendricks Power Cooperative 


-Applicants must be a graduating high school senior with all basic credits for college or proper* vocational/technical school entrance. *Proper vocational or technical school means one beyond high school where credits can be transferred to a state accredited four-year college. 

-Applicants must have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or better, and be enrolled in an accredited college or proper vocational/technical school.  

-Applicants must be a son, daughter or legal ward of a Hendricks Power Cooperative member and reside with that member.  

-Recipients are allowed to receive only one Hendricks Power Cooperative scholarship during their academic career.

-Due March 2nd by 4:30pm
