NPHS has connected with the Jason Foundation to help provide support suicide prevention. Please visit the website by clicking on the photo above.

If you are experiencing a crisis please dial the USA suicide hot-line at 1-800-SUICIDE  (1-800-784-2433) Toll free 24 hours 7 days a week or dial 911.

All of our students receive suicide prevention and education during Health class (Health Class is a mandatory class).

We also have a group at High School called SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) which also addresses suicide prevention. If you are interested in being in this program please let Mrs Alspaugh know.

Every year we train a group of students (40-45 students) in suicide prevention. The idea is to have students be able to  recognize suicide signs and to know how to respond to them. This training typically takes place in November.
