Parent Advisory Council Meeting:
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 6th at 5:00 PM in the HS cafeteria. During this meeting we will be providing information and asking for feedback regarding programming. We would also like to provide opportunities to increase parent participation in school activities and advisory opportunities. We anticipate the meeting lasting no longer than an hour.
April 18 - 2 Hour Delay for Professional Development As a reminder all NPCSC Schools will be working on a 2 Hour Delay on Monday, April 18th so that corporation teachers can take advantage of Professional Development opportunities.
Senior Decision Week:
As a way to encourage Seniors to communicate their plans for after graduation, NPHS will hold a Senior Decision Week during the week of April 11th. During this week, we will highlight student’s who have made a decision on our social media webpages, have dress up themes aligned to different areas of interest, and have meetings with students who have not communicated their plans. If you have a senior who has not shared their intentions, please have them reach out to Mr. Wagler.
Commencement Information:
Our 2022 Commencement Program will be held on Saturday, May 28th at 11:00 AM. Doors will open to the gymnasium at 9:30 AM. At this time there are no restrictions on attendance. Parents and loved ones are encouraged to arrive early, we ask all individuals to be seated prior to the beginning of the program.
Summer School 2022:
North Putnam High School will utilize Indiana Online Academy again this summer for summer school classes. Students must register directly with Indiana Online and pay a $50 technology fee per class to North Putnam in order to be approved for the course. Payments will be taken by the front High School office staff. This year North Putnam High School will only be approving courses that are for Credit Recovery, or are a part of a continued planned course of study already approved by North Putnam High School administration or school counselors. Chromebooks:
This is the last year for the current chromebooks. These devices will be collected from all students prior to the summer break. Students enrolled in Summer Online coursework through North Putnam may have the option to use their device during the summer.
After school academic support:
Four days per week, our school is offering after school academic support for students who need assistance. Our after school program is from 3:30-5:30, Monday through Thursday in the high school media center. Students should come prepared to study, or receive assistance on assignments or preparing for assessments. This can also be used as a monitored study group for kids needing to get together and work on their classwork. Students who have completed Activity Bus Transportation Forms can utilize this service.
