Hello Roachdale Families!!
It is hard to believe that we are entering the holiday season already. We are excited to have some exciting activities planned for students in the coming weeks! Much of that information is included below.
I wanted to take a minute and highlight some of the amazing things happening in our building!
Small Groups - We have really focused on meeting student where they are this year and providing instruction in small groups to target individual student needs! Students are showing amazing growth with this model!
WIN time - During this time, students are working on "What I Need." Teachers are providing instruction and working with students 1:1, in small groups, or providing practice based on each individual student's need.
Title 1 - Mrs. Livingston is working with teachers and students to further enhance our learning! Students love their time with her and are making strides while working with her.
Literacy Coaching - We are lucky to have Mrs. Conner working at our literacy coach! Her guidance for teachers to implement programs that cover the Science of Reading has been invaluable to our students' success!
Student Appreciation Day - Next Tuesday, students get to be celebrated for their hard work! They get to choose a movie and have popcorn to celebrate them!
These are just a few of the awesome things we are doing to ensure that students are succeeding in becoming lifelong learners!!
