Members of Putnam County PIE Coalition recently had the opportunity to work alongside Mental Health America at Bainbridge and Roachdale to meet with students in grades K, 1, and 2 to deliver Puppet Power lessons. Students taught lessons on Bullying and Safety. This is a great opportunity for students to get involved in the school community and give back to the students who look up to them.

We would like to encourage everyone to attend the Spring Musical, presented by the North Putnam Thespians. The Spring performance will be "The Wizard of Oz". Showtimes will be 7PM on Friday and Saturday (April 12/13) and 3PM on Sunday, April 14.

Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Madalynn Trent. Madalynn is the daughter of Ann and Jeff Trent. After graduation she intends to enroll at Butler University where she intends to major in entrepreneurship and minor in financing. Madalynn would like to thank her parents and all of her teachers. Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Grace Swisher. Grace is the daughter of Jason and Kimberly Swisher. After graduation she intends to enter the workforce. Grace would like thank Mrs. Sims and Mrs. Kramer for being fun and supportive throughout high school. We wish Grace the best as she prepares to leave NPHS! Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Addi Osburn. Addi is the daughter of Jamie Kiel and Rodney Osburn. After graduation she intends to enroll at Ivy Tech for nursing. Addi would like to thank her parents for being supportive throughout the years. She says she definitely could not have done it without their love and guidance. Addi would also like to thank her sister, Baylee Osburn, for being a good role model. She said she has always encouraged her to do her best in school, and in sports throughout the years. Addi would also like to thank her best friend, Lucas Murphy, for helping her get through high school, especially math. Finally, she would like to thank her teachers for helping prepare her for the future and her best friends for helping her stay motivated. Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Olivia Stewart. Olivia is the daughter of Angie and Jason Stewart. After graduation she intends to enroll at Purdue University and eventually earn her Master's Degree in finance from the Daniels School of Business. She also plans to continue her rodeo career throughout college. Olivia would like to thank her parents for their continuous support and pushing her to be the best version of herself. She would like to thank her brother for being a great role model. Olivia would also like to thank the teachers and staff at NP for their immense support and helping her to pursue her future career. After graduation she intends to enroll at Purdue University where she intends to study Medical Laboratory Sciences in the college of Health and Human Sciences. She would like to thank her mom, dad, sister, friends and teachers for their support over the years! NPHS is excited to celebrate the future plans of its Class of 2024. Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Hannah Summers. Hannah is the daughter of Max and Christine Summers. After graduation she intends to enroll at the University of the Cumberlands to continue her academic career. Hannah has also committed to shoot for the archery team. She will be majoring in Biomedical Health Science. Hannah is extremely excited about the next chapter of her life and would like to thank her parents, family, coaches, and teachers that have pushed her to achieve her goals. She says, "Thank you North Putnam, I will miss you!" NPHS is excited to celebrate the future plans of its Class of 2024. Our friends at DePauw University wanted to make sure our community was aware of some awesome opportunities to catch NCAA activities. Granted we want to see you at McAnally Gymnasium rooting on the NPHS Boys' Basketball team this weekend. March 1st- March 2nd, DePauw will be hosting the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championships. This is a ticketed event, and you can pay either ahead of time or in person. Tickets are available now at depauwtigers.com/ncaatickets. Game times are 6 pm and 8:30 pm on Friday (DePauw plays at 8:30 pm), and the championship is 8 pm on Saturday. Cash will be accepted at the door. $15 Adults, $10 Seniors/Students/Children. Also on Friday and Saturday, we have tennis matches and WLAX for Free! 3/1- 4:30p - MTEN at the ITT 3/2- 12 p - WLAX at Reavis Stadium 3/2- 3:30p - M/WTEN at the ITT

Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Grace Clodfelter. Grace is the daughter of David and Kylee Clodfelter. After graduation she intends to enroll at Indiana State University where she intends to major in elementary education and minor in special education or early childhood intervention. She plans to live in the Honor College. Grace would like to thank all her family, teachers and FFA advisors that have helped her throughout her high school career by being there for her and being good role models. We are excited to see Grace continue her studies and hopefully return back to NPCSC to work in one of our schools. NPHS is excited to celebrate the future plans of its Class of 2024.
