Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Chase Hanger. Chase is the son of Stacie and Travis Hanger. After graduation he intends to enroll at Indiana University to study Psychology. Chase would like to thank his teachers Mr. Cialkowski and Mrs. Spencer for all the support throughout high school. NPHS is excited to celebrate the future plans of it's Class of 2023. Full Scale Safety Drill: North Putnam Schools along with the Putnam County Emergency Operations Center are performing a full scale active shooter exercise Saturday, April 8 on the campus of North Putnam High/Middle School.  This is a full scale exercise and will  include first responder agencies from Putnam and surrounding counties including Lifeline and other air ambulance services.  The exercise provides North Putnam with the ability to train our safety plan, and assist first responders in how to respond to this type of devastating event. The NPHS/NPMS campus will be closed to the public most of Saturday in order to keep everyone safe.

Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Emma Stoops. Emma is the daughter of Kristina Whitaker and Jason Stoops. After graduation she intends to enroll at Indiana University to study Nursing. Emma wants to specialize in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) nursing or becoming a registered nurse (RN). Emma would like to thank her family, teachers, friends for helping her become the person she is today. NPHS is excited to celebrate the future plans of it's Class of 2023. We want all students to have a plan to be either Employed, Enlisted, or Enrolled by the time they graduate.

Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Sydney Moore. Sydney is the daughter of Angie and David Moore. After graduation she intends to enroll at Murray State University to study Agriculture Education. Sydney would like to thank her friends, family, and teachers for always supporting her. NPHS is excited to celebrate the future plans of it's Class of 2023. We want to thank our Paraprofessionals for everything they do to support our students in the classroom and beyond. These highly dedicated individuals do a phenomenal job in working with students and classroom teachers. Next time you see them, please thank them for everything they do for our students.

Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Seth Fuhrman. Seth is the son of Krista and Dave Fuhrman. After graduation he intends to enroll at Purdue University to study General Management and live in the Farmhouse Fraternity. Seth would like to thank his parents and most of his teachers, coaches, administrative staff, and Levi O'Neal as well as his other friends.

Did you know that a cow doesn't have 4 stomachs? Instead they have 1 stomach with 4 compartments! Students in Animal Science recreated the ruminant animal digestive system out of play dough today making sure their play dough resembled the lining of each compartment.

Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Madison Moore. Madison is the daughter of Andrea and Curtis Moore. After graduation she intends to enroll at the University of Indianapolis to study Business. After graduating from the University of Indianapolis she would like to continue her education by obtaining licensure in the cosmetology industry. Madison would like to thank her cheer coaches and her parents for pushing her to do her best. NPHS is excited to celebrate the future plans of it's Class of 2023. Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Jenna Modlin. Jenna is the daughter of Tina and Tony Modlin. After graduation she intends to enroll at Vincennes University for Automotive Technology. After she graduates from Vincennes she plans to work in an automotive shop. Jenna would like to thank her sister for always being there for her and supporting her. Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Jalyn Doss. Jalyn is the daughter of Andrea and Jeff Doss. After graduation she intends to complete the ASAP program at Ivy Tech in Greencastle. After 11 months, Jalyn will have completed two years of post secondary studies and then transfer to Indiana State University as a junior to study Elementary Education. Jalyn is going to be a wonderful teacher, and hopefully back in this community. Jalyn would like to thank her teachers and coaches for pushing her to be the best she could be in any circumstance. Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Corbin White. Corbin is the son of Jan and Randy White. After graduation he intends to enter the workforce in the construction trades. Corbin is currently a half day student at Area 30 in the Heavy Equipment II program. We are excited for Corbin to enter this high demand field where we know he will be successful. Congratulations to the new and existing members of the National Technical Honor Society at Area 30. NP's newest members to Area 30's NTHS Program are: Brilye Schmitz, Madison Hamm, Gracie Hollis, Caleb Rees, and Chase Redding.

After graduation he intends to attend the University of Southern Indiana to major in Biology on a pre-med track. Levi would like to thank his parents and FFA advisors for pushing him to succeed.
